Congratulations to Diane Robertson for winning the Sketch Challenge.  Diane has played with Kaiser's new Gingerbread range and has cleverly used the elements in the range.

3) New entrant winner

Congratulations to Natalia for winning a $20 gift voucher.  She says, "A while ago I got some Kaisercraft ''True Romance'' paper with the intention of scrapping a photo of my darling daughter Rose and when I sat down to scrap I decided to do a photo of her Baptism day. Mum made the christening gown when Liam was Baptised and it is made from left over lace from my wedding dress so I wanted to add some of this lace to the layout, and I also wanted to add a heart as Manawa ( which means heart) is her middle name."

3) Bonus winner

I LOVED this beautiful layout from Christine. She says, "I used Prima paper, resins, & lots of flowers! I wanted a bit whimsy & romance for this layout, so my little cherub is sitting on a flower bed. I also used the new Fiskars AdvantEdge system for the border."

We're going to send you an Artfull Scrap Pack filled with coordinating papers and little mixed embellishments and ribbons.

Winners, please email the shop at and let them know which challenge you have won and they will send off the prize to you.

Michelle - Kaisercraft Tea Party

... tea party anyone?

If you haven't had a chance to check out the Tea Party collection by Kaisercraft then go do it! It's beautiful and I had a lot of fun creating these projects to showcase a few of the cute papers and elements in the collection ...

Layout 1: Time for Tea ... a simple layout using the tea cosy paper and a couple of the very cute die cuts in the collectables pack, a couple of flowers and some hand stitching ...

Layout 2: Life is Sweet ... a combination of the gorgeous papers in this collection along with some flowers and some ribbon stitched on ...

And of course I had to pull out my WRMK envelope punch board and create a quick envelope to go with this cute card ...

And a tag to add to a present ...

You can check out the Tea Party collection here, and if you're a Timaru local you can see these projects in store at the moment.
Also don't forget the September challenges deadline is tomorrow (Sunday) night ... check out all the details on this blog post.

Curiosity Projects - Sharon

Hi everyone

Sharon here, Its a chilly old day here in the deep dark south!!! So I am mighty pleased to get off the farm for an hour or two, and share with you some projects I have made with the Kaisercraft Curiosity range. This range can be found here in the shop Curiosity  The floral fantasy theme for this month is a perfect fit,  with the papers and embellishments available in this beautiful range. There is 10% off the full collection too, added bonus!!

I love the femininity of this range, and the suitability these papers etc have for a range of pages and cards.

In this first project, I made a card for one of my longest and dearest friends who turned 50 a few weeks ago. I used a stencil and some metallic paste to create the design on the card front, and bits and pieces from the 6x6 pad, as well as an obligatory flower frenzy!!!

The next project I made was a heritage page using a photo from the family archives. Don't the patterns, designs and colours work perfectly with photos from this era? The floral garland across the middle of the page, was cut from various papers from the 6x6 pad, and layered over a couple of papers from the 12x12 collection. The page was finished off with some of the delicious kaiser roses, and flowers, and of course some kaiser flourishes.

Thanks for looking!

I will be back in a couple of weeks, to show you how I am preparing for Christmas!!! Believe it or not there is only 88 sleeps to go!!! We all know how hectic it can get leading up to the silly season, so come back and join me for some Christmas scrapbooking tips!!!!

Christine - Take Note Project

Hi there Christine here today with my 'take' on  Kaisercraft's Take Note Collection.
I tried Project Life when it first came out - but found I couldn't keep up with a photo a day! So it soon fell by the wayside.... but then I realised it didn't have to be that way and I could do it as Events throughout the year.
So these pages are of my youngest son's 21st last year...

I have to do a little bit of embellishing and add in some goodies - The Collectables are great for this!

I have even used some peelcraft silver letters!!! The chipboard bike I just inked up with my inkpad.

The frame here on the left is the postage die from My Favourite Things.

Some bakers twine and washi tape add a bit of detail and I used a tiny stapler to attach word strips.
Papervine Flair button and a trinket key have also been used.

This is a good way to show all the photos that I seem to take and I find that you can stick them into the pocket pages (I have used design F pages here)and then fill in the gaps with the filler and journal cards and embellish them as you like or have time!! Also with the D ring albums you can still make a whole page layout and insert that in where you want it too.

Happy Creating!

Christmas is Coming

Hi Everyone....Lydia here with a few projects using Kaiser's St. Nicholas range.  This is such a lovely Christmas range with deep greens, reds and creams.  It also has a nice vintage feel to it.  We just experienced the first day of autumn here in the States and that means Christmas is coming not too far behind it.  The air is cool and fresh perfect for working with Christmas paper.

First for you is a wooden beyond the page project.  This wall art was really fun to work with.  I decided to just ink the "joy" making it stand out a bit more from the paper background instead of covering it with paper.

Second project for you is a layout.  I was pleasantly surprised this range went so well, even with a fairly colorful photo.  The framed paper was a fun challenge to work with as I am more drawn to straight lines.

Lastly, I have a card for you.  I am no card maker but this collection has so many great bits and bobs that it was quick and easy.

I hope you love this range as much as I do.  It happens to be 10% off in the shop right now.  Make sure you pop on over and have a look around.

That's all for now!  I'll see you back next month.

Valou - "Christmas Carol" - Card

Hello everybody!

Valou here today, to present you a Christmas card!

I hope that you go all well and that the weather is not too cold.

I have a small day of delay in the publication of my comment and I apologize, but my companion had a health problem and he must be operated as a matter of urgency for the vertebral column last week. He is yesterday evening returned home and everything goes well.

Here is my card made with the collection " Christmas Carol" from "Kaisercraft".

For the base of my card, I used a paper " red Kaisercraft Cardstock " and a paper " white Bazzil Cardstock ".

The polka-dot paper is used with "Old Distresser" then sewn to the sewing machine.

The feeling is a die-cut " Kaisercraft " of the same collection. I stuck it with a foam piece 3-d on a die-cut realized with "Cuttlebug" and a dies " Spellbinders ". Everything around this feeling, I added of "Glitter Stickels".

For the decoration, I added:

- A big red flower " Kaisercraft ".
- A green rose " Kaisercraft ".
- Another green flower " Kaisercraft ".
- Two cloth white roses.
- Two twigs of white pearly pearls.
- White pistils.
- Green leaves " Kaisercraft ".

Under the image, I added of the ribbon red Organza (35 mm).

Then, I realized a bow with a piece of the same ribbon which I stuck to the left of my card. I made another bow with a piece of "Twine" whom I decorated with a small golden bell. I stuck the whole on the first bow.

Here we are!

I thank you for your passage and say to you see you soon for a new project!

Spend an excellent day!
