Nichole - Kaisercraft Blast Off! Card

Hi Everyone! Nichole again with a card using the brand new and retro themed collection from Kaisercraft, Blast Off.

This fun line is perfect for boys or girls, but can be handy to keep a masculine paper on handy for a boy's birthday, or a budding astronomer. Cute detail stitching and textiles, bright happy primary colors, and stars make this an instant favorite of mine.

I've taken this collection and made both a card and a matching envelope using the new We Are Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board.

Background paper is from the Blast Off 6x6 Paper Pad, set on top of a Kraft coloured cardstock base cut to a standard card size.  Round star dots are cut from the same background paper and popped on foam adhesive.

This cute alien sure does have a smile on its face!  Speech bubble is a die cut from the Blast Off Collectables turn around, used as a place for a sentiment.  Turning your die cuts around is a way of getting more use from your scrap stash!

Sentiment is from Hero Arts, with Stickles in Yellow to fill in the stars.

Glittery stars are from Studio Calico's Wood Veneers Stars, topped with Yellow Stickles from Ranger Industries and glued on with Glossy Accents.  A band of green ribbon around the card ties in the bright green and breaks up the space visually.

Inside of card wishes the lucky little Space Cadet a Happy Birthday!  Stamped in Versafine ink with a sentiment from Hero Arts.

I made a coordinating envelope that mimiced the stitching theme and coordinated nicely.  Hand lettered starbust "BLAST OFF!" counting down.

Thanks for looking!
